hi guys, it's been a long time since i#ve been to this forum. the reason, as some of you might remember, is, that i relocated to germany for the time being. i'll be in edmonton for a couple of weeks in august, from the 4th to the 21, mainly for the folk fest, but also to hook up with some old friend...

i told nick i was taking off monday morning, figured he'd pass it on. left cowtown around 10am, and was back in edmonton 1:15pm. was a beautiful ride back.

hi john and audrey, looks like i'm going to be staying at nick's. still planning on riding down friday. am o.k. leaving between 8 and 10am. i agree with john that it might be a good idea to head out and do the bulk of the riding while it is still cool. maybe we can discuss details (route,etc) sunday...

hi audrey, i have heard those same groans from the bee on a hot day before. it seizes after awhile. can't say when the last time was that i heard it, but it seems to me that it was happening more frequently when the bee was still new. nothing ever happened that i felt was connected to the noises, so...

i'm afraid i spoke too soon at the meeting. looks like i'm going to have company coming from germany during the rally weekend. i guess that leaves only an emergency couch in my livingroom.

i think i'm just going to get top gear to do it. apparently it invoves taking out the fork, bleeding the brakes and on and on...

they have the parts and can do it thursday, so i'll be ready to go for the weekend.
