My groovy tee

Hi everybody;

Here is a picture of the cool tee shirt that I bought, now if I could find a Vespa to go with it.

Easy peasy accessory plug

I just put an accessory plug on a 1.5 ah 12volt battery and keep it in my glove box. Yeah, I'm a slacker.

First ride of the season

Hi Everybody; Well, I just got back from taking my Saga (150) for the first ride of the season; every year it takes me quite a few midnight rides to get comfortable with driving and I wont venture out in the day until I feel confidant, comfortable and safe. Remember that under that gravel there is s...

Korean Vespa, buy or run away?

Hi; Thanks for the help and advice. much of the joy (to me) is in finding these hidden gems or passing by, so the search continues. By the way, my Elite 80 now runs; poorly, but still it runs (rear brake cable is gummed up). Now does anyone have any idea what I can do about the non functioning lock ...

Korean Vespa, buy or run away?

Hi guys and gals; I have put an offer in on a 1978 Korean made P125x, I was wondering, should I go for it or should I stay away from it as it is not really a real Vespa (or is it)? I have a scooter (well 2 right now), but a vespa would be great; it is not running and needs the front brakes redone an...

Just a thought

Hi Guys and gals and all you hep cats in scooterland; Just a thought, I am going to take the time to learn to fix my poor scoot, and yes I am still looking for a running one but would also like another non running one. Hopefully there is something closer to home

groovy, I could have the worlds coolest bookends. Sadly no, I already have one project. I did buy a new battery, fuel filter, spark plug and key blank; with the air filter and carb gasket kit I have on order, maybe this white elephant will again see the open road. Well, open city streets maybe. This...

Does anyone have a working Elite 80 for sale?

I Just bought an Elite 80 from Kamloops; supposedly it only had 1600km on and was "like new", well the odometer has turned over at least once and the scooter is a basket case (nice and clean however). The owner changed the front tire at some point and the rim has a large bend in it. I was ...

2002 Honda Jazz parts bike (80 percent)

Hi; I bought a 2002 Honda Jazz parts bike thinking that I could tear it appart and learn, while not harming my 2008 Jazz. Well,,, I am just too lazy, everything is very cramped and I could use the space, so if someone could make use of it please make me offer. Mind you in a perfect world, someone wo...

Saw another Jazz today, video soon

Hi; Well, after one week, I am loving my Jazz! The carb needs cleaning (long 7 minit warmup, then it is sluggish for a few k) and they are going to do it under warantee at Riverside. They told me that a dirty carb (it has been sitting arround since 2008) is not a warrentee thing, but it is only a we...

2008 Honda Jazz, good choice?

Hi guys and gals; I just put $1700 down (more owing) on a new 2008 Honda Jazz. What should have I asked on this forum before I handed over my hard earned credit? Yes, if I would have thought of you guys and gals before, I would not be freaking out right now. The BWs was much more expencive and had l...

Scooter video

Hi; Yeah, it was pretty cool, but to me scooters (like motorcycles when I was young) are quite utilitarian. They are fun and you always have people to talk to, but for me they are mainly transport. Mind you my Razz, well, I overpaid, and then overpaid for repairs, but I used to have a Razz (the only...
