We will meet at Tra Amici as usual but at noon rather than 1 PM. Afterwards we will head over to the hospital and visit Kevin.

A small but dedicated bunch turned out with most riding! No big deal for me as I spend more time warming the bike up than riding. Graham did better coming from Boonie Doon but Al took the cake by riding his Solex powered moped. Innocent bystanders screamed in terror as he rocketed by at top speed. Accounts varied but some estimated his speed may well have exceeded 30 km/h!
Audrey handily took the distance prize but received some flak for using four wheels rather than two. However thirty miles at subzero may well have ended with her body being donated for medical research. No more club members in hospital for a while please and thank you.
After coffee and lies about our prowess we headed over to see Kevin. He was in great shape pretty much normal except for a scar from stem to sternum. We cracked quite a few jokes and thankfully laughter had no ill effects.
He is now in room 3E2.22 but should be released today (Monday). The doctor had no restrictions other than lifting so we should see him out again soon.
It also looks like old blue badge will rise again as Kevin is determined to see her on the road again.
All in all a great meeting.
